Review What can I say? A fitting end to a great show. Unlike other shows battlestar refused to conform to cliched sci-fi endings and the writers have truly tried to break the mould once again. Yes us die hards might have wanted something more, but ends are tied up and even more to ponder on. Mint!
Review An absolute senstation. While watching for the first time I was awestruck how well all the loose ends were tied together. A great ending for what has been an amazing journey. The angel thing actually is a really good idea because that explains Baltar's visions too. They started from season 1 so there needed to be an explanation of those too!
Great story, great set and incredible actors. Well done to all. It cannot be bettered! Just sad it is finished. If they had carried on it would have become worthless like that Star Trek thing!
Review When a series has been as good as this one it is tempting to think that the end may be a let down.

This one wasn't - an excellent end to an excellent series.
Review The writers strike of 07/08 literally ended season four half way through its run. This Final Season begins where season four ended and brings this superb series to a close.

For a series as popular and acclaimed as Battlestar Gallactica any ending is going to prove divisive. This series continues the fine writing and characterization of previous seasons and concludes the cliffhanger ending of season four. Throughout this fantastic season the tension ratchets up a gear with the beaten and demoralised fleet facing an uncertain future. Earth is lost and new enemies from within try turn the situation to their advantage. As you'd expect from BSG this season remains as dark as previous ones with hardly a glimmer of humour. The writing maintains the same high standards and the characters are as intricate and morally ambiguous as ever.

As you'd expect from the final season of a series that had many mysteries at its heart, loose threads are resolved, explanations are given and some things are
Review Full credit to everyone involved in the production of the final series, as this is fantastic entertainment. The writing was, as always, of exceedingly high quality and there were enough plot twists to keep the viewer entertained.

One small niggle was the apparent reduction in big budget special effects. In particular, the graphics of the final gun battle seemed inferior to those of previous battles in earlier series. What the frak?
Review There was an understandable mix of emotions bubbling to the surface when the final episode of Battlestar Galactica was finally broadcast in the first half of 2009. On the one hand, this has proven to be vintage science fiction television, easily one of the most ambitious, daring and flat-out successful TV projects in recent times. And on the other, it’s all over, with this box set bringing together the final episodes of the show.

Inevitably, this final season wraps up many of the mysteries and narrative questions of Battlestar Galactica, none of which we intend to spoil here. The fate of humanity, the hunt for the fabled earth and the further revelations about the Cylons are packed in, and the standard throughout this final season remains sky high.

The actual ending itself, as it happens, proved quite divisive, but arguably that’s part of the strength of Battlestar Galactica. Because this is a show that, right to the end, doesn’t take the easy road, and delivers some of the
